UMKC Announces Jamila Jefferson-Jones' Promotion to Rank of Professor

UMKC is pleased to announce that Jamila Jefferson-Jones has been promoted to the rank of Professor in the School of Law.  Professor Jefferson-Jones teaches and writes in the areas of property law, real estate transactions and fair and affordable housing.  She is recognized as a national expert on the housing segment of the sharing economy (Airbnb, etc.).  Professor Jefferson-Jones is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.  After a decade of legal practice, she joined legal academia in 2009 and came to UMKC in 2015.
